What's a CMY Block, a CMY Octa , a CMY Icosa or a CMY Dodeca ?

CMY stands for Cyan, Magenta Yellow which are the three subtractive primary colours in life. Opposed sides of the blocks, whether it's a block, a cube, an Octa, an Icosa or a Dodeca are colourred in Cyan, Magenta and Yellow. Rotating the angle from where you're looking at your block, changes the degree to which the light penetrate and filters the colours showing you the different spectrum of the light.

Do you have different sizes available ?

Our CMY cubes come in three different sizes. You can select the size in the product page.

The Small CMY Cube is 30*30*30mm. The Medium CMY Cube is 50*50*50mm and the Large CMY Cube is 70*70*70mm.


The CMY Icosa is 50*50*50mm.

The CMY Octa is 60mm width and 80mm height.

The CMY Dodeca is 50*50*50mm

Is the mylightblock CMY Block better than others ?

You may find some CMY Blocks or Cubes on the most common market places like eBay, Aliexpress or Amazon, but there is no guarantee you will receive a qualitative product. They may even come in a brown carton box directly from China. And they usually cheaper... for a reason.

Our products are all shipped from Australia or Italy and are delivered in a nice microfibre pouch, especially made for it. It's the same material used to clean reading and sunglasses. They also come in a beautiful box to protect it.

Buying from our website is the guarantee to receive an Authentic CMY Block that has passed our quality control. They are made in the best possible acrylic material quality and the coloured coating are finely applied ont the surface assuring you'll get a pristine surface allowing the light the best level of penetration and reflectance. 


What payment methods do you accept?

We accept the following credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay. We only take payment once your order has been shipped. We also accept payment by PayPal. If you decide to use either of these method, you’ll be taken to either the PayPal website, where you’ll be prompted to log in and process your payment. You’ll then be directed back to our merchant website once your transaction is complete.

Is my payment secured ?

Abolutely, our website is hosted by Shopify and all payments are also provided by Shopify which makes your payment 100% secured.

Ordering and delivery

Do I need an account to place an order ?

Absolutly not ! You don't need to create an accoint to place an order on mylightblock.com

However, we will need your details to organise the shipping and make sure it arrives safely. 

Where is my order confirmation?

This is automatically sent to your email address when you place an order. If you haven’t received your order confirmation within 24 hours, please get in touch in the contact us section of the website just in case there’s a problem with your order. Please check your mailbox’s spam or junk folder before contacting us in case the order confirmation has been diverted there.

Can I alter my order?

Sadly, we’re unable to modify your order once we’ve started processing it. If you need to order a greater quantity or an additional product, please place a new order online.

When will my order arrive?

Most of the orders are dispatched the same day, however, in high demand periods, we may take a little longer to take car of it. We prepare order from Monday to Sunday, including publiv hollidays.

Our warehouse is based in Australia and soon we will soon be opening a facility in Italy but we deliver worldwide. Please allow some time for your parcel to reach your country. Depending on the service you chose, please refer to their shipping policies on their respective websites.

In the event of unsuccessfull delivery or not collected parcel, and depending of the service used, the parcel may be retuned to us. If you wish for us to resend it, we will need to charge you again for shipping. In this case please contact us to arrange it.

If you parcel has not been delivered within the estimated time, please contact us and we will lodge a claim ith the approriate postage or courrier service.

Note that we cannot be held responsible for orders lost in transit, however, we will do whatever we can to resolve your issue.

What countries do you ship to?

We ship to most regions worldwide. During the chechout process, you will be able to see the list of countries we ship to.

Am I going to pay import taxes ?

This depends of the country you're living in. Each country has its own import and taxation rules. Please check with your countries import taxes rules.

mylightblock.com cannot be held repsonsible for any import duties or fees applied in your country.

However, we can guarantee there will be no taxes for customers based in Australia. In a near future, we will be able to guarantee this for all countries in European Union.


Can I return or exchange an item?

Our CMY blocks and Spheres are handmade and bespoke products. They are also fragile.

Some sides of the blocks are coated with a very thin layer. Sliding them on a surface or just not using with care could result in scratching the surface, or worst peeling the coating off the block. 

We always make sure we're shipping an immaculate product to our customers. In the unlikely event where your block or sphere was damaged, please contact us immediately.
